The Uzbekistan Professional Football League has been formally accepted as member of the World Leagues Forum, the organization which brings together professional football leagues around the world.
UzPFL becomes the first league from Central Asia to join the association of professional football leagues which includes the likes of the Premier League and La Liga, amongst other professional football leagues representing more than 1200 clubs in 45 countries.
Jerome Perlemuter, General Secretary, World Leagues Forum said:
“We are extremely glad and honored to welcome the Uzbekistan Professional Football League within the World Leagues Forum. We look forward to working with the PFL to help Uzbekistan football achieve its full potential.”
World Leagues Forum aims to foster cooperation between the Leagues through knowledge sharing and helps them to develop.
Being a part of world association of professional football leagues and knowing that our interests are being discussed and represented at the highest levels in world football will benefit our league and clubs.
