The 2026 Uzbekistan Superleague continues its drawless start, with Gameweek 2 delivering surprises, setbacks, and statement performances. Several early title contenders stumbled unexpectedly, while five teams maintained their perfect records — separated only by goal difference at the top.
Kokand-1912 1:2 Pakhtakor
Pakhtakor secured all three points in Kokand, earning a measure of revenge for last season’s costly defeat at the same venue that derailed their title hopes. The Lions repeated their Gameweek 1 pattern, with Dostonbek Hamdamov and Piotr Parzyszek both finding the net again.
Toma Tabatadze’s 90+5’ strike was too late to salvage a point for the hosts.
Qizilqum 2:1 Andijan
Fresh off their impressive opening‑week win, Andijan entered the match as a rising contender. But Akmal Rustamov’s Qizilqum had different plans.
The hosts went ahead through Jambuli Jigauri on 35 minutes. Andijan’s Alexandre Andronikashvili equalised with a brilliant free kick, but the parity lasted only four minutes before Islom Kenjaboev restored Qizilqum’s advantage — one they held until the final whistle.
Navbahor 0:1 Bukhara
A frustrating night for Navbahor, who dominated from start to finish but failed to convert their superiority into goals.
Bukhara goalkeeper Umidjon Hamroev delivered one of the best performances of his career, repeatedly denying the home side. In the second half, Velko Filipovic struck the decisive blow, giving Bukhara a memorable victory.
Mash’al 0:2 Lokomotiv
Last season’s Proleague champions continue their impressive transition to the top flight.
Goals from Anzur Ismoilov and Quvonchbek Abraev just before halftime put Lokomotiv firmly in control, and Mirko Jelicic’s team never looked back as they remained among the early‑season leaders.
Surkhon 0:3 Neftchi
Surkhon fielded the youngest starting XI of the round, with an average age of just 22, and Neftchi quickly seized upon the hosts’ inexperience.
A brace from Stipe Perica and a goal from Jovan Dokich secured a second consecutive 3–0 victory for The Tigers, who now sit atop the table on goal difference.
Bunyodkor 1:2 Dinamo
The headline match of the round lived up to its billing, with Dinamo triumphing thanks to a masterclass from Azizbek Amonov.
The former Bunyodkor forward opened the scoring with a stunning strike, then provided a beautifully crafted assist for Firdavs Abdurahmonov. Though Bunyodkor pulled one back after the break, Dinamo controlled the match throughout and deserved the win.
Sogdiana 0:2 Nasaf
Sogdiana’s struggles continued as Nasaf capitalised on another lacklustre performance from the hosts.
Early goals from Oybek Rustamov and Sharof Muhitdinov put Nasaf firmly ahead. Sogdiana’s best chance came late, but Ljupce Doriev missed from the penalty spot, leaving the Jizzakh side rooted to the bottom of the table.
Khorazm 1:0 OKMK
In the final match of the round, Khorazm earned a deserved win over an OKMK side still searching for stability after losing several key players in the offseason.
Diyorbek Ortiqboev scored the only goal of the match, giving the Horses their first victory of the campaign.
Standings After Gameweek 2
Neftchi, Lokomotiv, Pakhtakor, Nasaf, and Bukhara sit atop the table with perfect records after two rounds, separated only by goal difference. With several key clashes on the horizon, Gameweek 3 promises to reshape the early-season landscape yet again.
