Khorazm returns to the Superleague after 15 years

Khorazm will start next season in the Superleague. The club’s main sponsor has approved the 2025 budget, and it has been registered with the Uzbekistan Football Association. Additionally, the governor of Khorezm region, Jurabek Rahimov, has provided an official guarantee to support the club in the Superleague.

Khorazm last competed in the top tier during the 2010 season and has since been playing in the second-tier Proleague. Earlier, Metallurg and Olimpik decided to pass on the opportunity to become the 16th team in the Superleague. However, Khorazm managed to meet the required criteria within the deadline set by the League.
