FarDU will participate in the Proleague

FarDU will compete in the Pro League for the 2025 season. In its debut season in the First League competition, the football team of Fergana State University (FarDU) won bronze medals. FarDU finished second in the Eastern region of the First League, securing the right to play in the playoffs. In the playoffs held in Tashkent, the university team finished in third place.

In December, league specialists visited Fergana State University to assess the operations of its football team and held discussions with the university's leadership regarding the necessary steps for FarDU to join the Proleague. Throughout the month, the university met the league's requirements.

In particular, the club finalized a tripartite contract to host the 2025 season at Istiqlol Stadium, which was approved by the league.

A guarantee was also provided to meet the requirements set by the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) regarding the signing of labor contracts with players of Pro League clubs. Furthermore, an U19 team, formed from the university's students, will participate in the Uzbekistan U19 Championship.

The league appreciates the growing interest and attention of higher education institutions toward professional football and announces that the FarDU team will conditionally compete in the 2025 season of the Proleague.
